Key Features of the 2027 Honda CR-V
204-Horsepower Two-Motor Hybrid Powertrain
The available two-motor hybrid powertrain is one of the defining strengths of the 2027 Honda CR-V. Rated at 204 horsepower, it delivers lively acceleration while maintaining the smooth, composed character shoppers expect from a Honda SUV. Hybrid trims include Sport mode, allowing drivers to sharpen throttle response for a more engaging feel when merging, passing, or simply enjoying a more energetic drive. The CR-V also includes a power meter on hybrid trims, giving drivers an easy way to monitor power output and battery recharging as they drive. This setup is especially appealing for drivers who want responsive performance without moving into a larger SUV. Around town, the hybrid system feels refined and quiet. On the highway, it provides confident power delivery. For online shoppers comparing compact SUVs, the CR-V Hybrid lineup offers a compelling mix of capability, efficiency, and everyday driving enjoyment.
Real Time AWDâ„¢ with Intelligent Control Systemâ„¢
Available Real Time All Wheel Drive™ with Intelligent Control System™ helps the 2027 CR-V feel confident and responsive when conditions change. The system can send extra power to the rear wheels when it senses the front tires losing traction, supporting outstanding cornering performance and added stability. This is valuable for drivers near Iowa City, IA who regularly encounter a mix of city streets, rural roads, highways, hills, gravel driveways, and changing Midwest road surfaces. The CR-V also offers Snow mode, which can help with acceleration and deceleration on slippery roads. For shoppers who want a compact SUV that feels secure without feeling oversized, Real Time AWD™ is a meaningful upgrade to consider. It contributes to the CR-V’s reputation as an SUV that is easy to drive daily yet prepared for more demanding routes when needed.
Google built-in with Google Gemini
The 2027 Honda CR-V brings technology into the cabin in a way that feels natural and useful. With available Google built-in, now equipped with Google Gemini, drivers can access Google Maps, apps on Google Play, and hands-free assistance directly through the touch-screen. Gemini allows natural voice interaction, so drivers can ask for help finding a destination, locating a convenient stop, adjusting settings like the A/C, or learning about the vehicle without taking focus away from the road. The CR-V also supports wireless Apple CarPlay® compatibility and wireless Android Auto™ compatibility through the standard 9-inch color touch-screen. A wireless phone charger is available, while every CR-V includes two front USB-C ports, and EX and higher trims add rear USB-C ports. For shoppers who rely on connected navigation, messaging, audio, and device charging, the CR-V delivers a modern experience that is simple to use.
Spacious Cargo Area and Configurable Rear Seating
Practicality is a major reason shoppers gravitate toward the CR-V, and the 2027 model continues to excel. The cargo area features a low, wide opening that makes loading groceries, luggage, sports gear, home improvement supplies, or travel bags easier. With up to 76.5 cubic feet of cargo space, the CR-V offers room for larger items while remaining easy to maneuver in parking lots and urban settings. The second-row seatback can recline, fold, and split, making it simple to carry passengers and cargo in different combinations. That flexibility matters for households that need one SUV to support work, errands, school activities, pets, and weekend plans. Available accessories such as seatback protectors, all-season floor mats, and a cargo cover can help tailor the CR-V to the way you use it. The result is a cabin that feels thoughtfully designed, not just spacious on paper.
Honda Sensing® Suite
The Honda Sensing® suite adds confidence by bringing together safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to help make driving easier and support occupant protection. The Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) can alert and assist when there is a risk of collision with a detected vehicle or pedestrian ahead, and it can automatically apply brake pressure when the system determines a collision is unavoidable. Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) is designed to help you stay on the road if you cross detected lane lines without signaling. Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow can adjust to the speed of detected vehicles ahead and can even bring the vehicle to a stop in certain conditions. Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) can help keep the CR-V centered in a detected lane while your hands remain on the wheel. Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) can display recognized signs on the digital instrument cluster.
