West Burlington Iowa - 2020 Honda CR-V Overview

Exterior - 2020 Honda CR-V

The refined grille of the CR-V will stand out to many people as its focal point, but the 19-inch alloy wheels and LED fog lights will certainly stand out in a crowd, too. What you're seeing here is the evolution of the already handsome CR-V, coming into its own in this modern age. It's more modern in the design, sleeker, with more color options than ever before. While this 2020 Honda CR-V review is limited because of the still early revelations of the exterior, you can already see that the CR-V is much improved from previous editions, and it's giving this future Honda model a real buzz in the industry. Did we mention that there's for sure going to be a Hands Free Access Power Tailgate? We should have.

Interior - 2020 Honda CR-V in West Burlington

Our 2020 Honda CR-V review begins where it should: the interior. For a compact SUV to be family-oriented, it needs to have clever storage solutions, plenty of soft interior seating, and a world of entertainment. Honda is giving the CR-V a 7-inch high-resolution Display Audio touchscreen for 2020, along with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology. Smartphone integration will be easier than in previous model years. You get an unimaginable 105.9 cubic feet of cargo volume as well, so there's plenty of room for both your happy passengers and all of the stuff you need to bring with you. The word so far at our West Burlington Honda dealership is that at least a few trims of the CR-V will have leather-trimmed seating. Expect wireless charging, too.

Mechanical & Powertrain - CR-V specs in West Burlington Iowa

The All-wheel drive system of the CR-V is making headlines, too. It features real-time AWD with Intelligent Control System. Later 2020 Honda CR-V review teams will add more to this information, but for now that's what we know about the mechanical systems of the CR-V. Honda has been justifiably protective of its CR-V information. Brad Deery Honda will update information about the mechanical systems of the CR-V as soon as the information is available. Your standard engine for non-hybrid models will be a 190 horsepower 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo 4-cylinder engine. The biggest news is that there's a hybrid system that uses two electric motors and 2.0L engine. Two motors are paired with a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine, producing peak power of 212 horsepower. That's right. The hybrid model is actually going to be a little bit more powerful than your regular 1.5L VTEC Turbo.

Safety - 2020 Honda CR-V dealer

Honda Sensing is going to be the technology protecting you while you're in the CR-V. It's a well-known, highly respected safety tech suite featuring systems that help you brake, keep in your own lane, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. A Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning and pedestrian sensing capability should be standard on just about every trim of the CR-V, but there has been no official announcement yet on exactly what features are making it and what is being left off. Chances are that most of the advanced features that were optional in the past will now be standard, as most automakers like Honda want to upgrade the most on safety features and driver-assist tech. Adaptive cruise control has been announced, though, and that's one that every drive who must endure stop and go driving conditions is always thankful for.
